The International Charity Organization has announced its contribution to the fasting of 400 Muslim villages since the start of the Ramadan 2025 campaign. The initiative covers many countries, including Mauritania, Somalia, Senegal, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kenya, with the goal of alleviating the suffering of poor families during the blessed month by distributing food packages containing essential items that help them prepare their iftar meals.
His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Khaja, Secretary-General of the Organization, stated that this initiative is part of supporting needy areas, targeting 2,000 Muslim villages during Ramadan. It is being carried out through the Organization's offices around the world, based on field visits to assess the needs of the Muslim villages that start Ramadan with simple supplies and very difficult conditions.
He extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to all the partners in the success of this charitable journey, including benefactors, institutions, companies, and local media, emphasizing that this support is a key factor in covering the needs of the largest number of regions and conveying the image of communities experiencing the bitterness of poverty.
He affirmed that the International Charity Organization has placed providing food as a priority in its Ramadan campaign 'From What You Love,' not only in African countries but also in nations that have suffered from wars. The Organization has provided generous support to our brothers in Gaza through 'Operation Brave Knight 3,' and continues to support needy families and orphan families within the country, striving to achieve all the objectives during the blessed month.
