The International Charity Organization and the Department of Port and Customs, Ajman signed a cooperation agreement, with the aim of enhancing ways of cooperation between the two parties in the fields of charitable, voluntary and community work to ensure this service in the emirate and for the happiness of the needy.
The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Charity Organization and the Head of the Department of Port and Customs. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the Organization, and Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of Business Development at the Department.
Sheikh Mohammed Al Nuaimi said: “Charitable agreements have a special characteristic in that they enhance the vision and lofty goals of government agencies, foremost of which is the happiness of community members and the involvement of employees in various humanitarian initiatives. This enhances their responsibility towards their community and their emirate, and develops in them the spirit of giving. This is by launching joint initiatives concerned with treating medical conditions, helping needy families, and other projects by investing in social media platforms and various media channels for both parties.”
