As part of its ongoing efforts to provide support around the world, a delegation from the International Charity Organization is visiting Kenya, with the aim of launching 125 new charitable projects, the most important of which are building mosques, digging wells, establishing schools and educational centers, in addition to treating patients, providing medical equipment, distributing food parcels, as well as supporting productive family projects and employing unemployed youth, and other charitable projects.
In this context, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charity Organization, stated: “These charitable projects represent an important step towards improving the living conditions of needy areas in Kenya, which suffer from major challenges in the areas of water, health and education. Through these projects, we aim to improve the lives of thousands of people, whether by providing clean water, enhancing the education process, or building mosques that contribute to spreading knowledge and the teachings of Islam.”
He added: “We realize that charitable work is not just about providing immediate aid, but rather an investment in building communities and enhancing their ability to achieve sustainable development. This is what the International Charity Organization has sought to achieve since its establishment under the support and guidance of our wise leadership. The results that have been achieved were due to Allah and then the support of generous people. Many villages have been saved after suffering from ignorance and illiteracy. Many areas were in dire need of medical equipment after lacking it. Many orphans have had their futures built and become role models for their peers and useful to their communities because of this support. Thank you to everyone who contributes, even a little bit, because this little amount has made a difference in people’s lives and made them happy.”
